Most scenes are from Carrog but three or four short clips are from Llangollen and Glyndyfrdwy. The light was dim but at least it stayed dry most of the day, which was the penultimate day of the railway’s 9-day mega-gala. This was a further test for my new Panasonic V100 camcorder – also for my new Velbon carbon-fibre tripod. Viewers can judge results!

I bought this tripod today 2nd January 2012. So Cool they can hold up to 4kg any camera camcorders it’s 165cm tall but u can do up to 6 foot I bought this for £50 pounds

Got a nice big parcel as I was walking out the door to go to work. Here’s my new Canon EOS KISS X4! Yes I know it’s a little bit late as this camera was released in Feb 2010, but it suits my needs for the moment and I didn’t want to spend too much on a DSLR just yet.
As most of you know, the Canon EOS Kiss X4 is the same as a Rebel T2i and 550D. The Kiss X4 is just the Japanese name. Rebel T2i is the American name, and 550D is for the rest of the world.

Short review of the Velbon CX 686 tripod. The base is very stable with rubber pads to keep it from slipping on slick surfaces. The extension clips are strong and made of a durable plastic. Each of the legs are made of a strong aluminum. The fluid head is smooth and holds well. The quick release camera mount is very enjoyable and works well.
I have not found any issues with the tripod that bother me. With a heavy camera the tripod might become somewhat unstable but for its weight rating it performs well.
